Janani Janmabhumih cha Swargadapi gariyasi.

In life, Mother, Motherland and heaven(religion) take top priority in that order. Indians see Motherland as Mother, herself, and Mother as a form of Durga, the supreme being. So, Janani, Janmabhumi and religion are all seen as one.

It means thus : when with a Mother, its heaven for you. When in your Motherland, its heaven for you!

And to such a Motherland, which I perceive as my Mother, I salute.
