Another water fall

Another water fall from western ghats. This is a view of Sirimane falls in rain. Its a stream of forest water that eventually joins Thunga river near Sringeri.

oh man! Its roaring sound is etched in my ears. Can you feel the heat as well?

I can feel the chill. Thats lot of water, but I think it got a little under exposed.

Roaring photo srik, why is it looking little dull.. a kind of photo when its getting dark ;-) Generally such falling water shines so bright alva?

Monsoon in Malnad is like that. We can see Sun only for a short time on any given day. Soooo the dullness in the capture.

I can hear the noise! Is the lense wet? It seems as if certain areas are a bit blurry, or is that just the extreme moisture in the air?

@Lydia: Yes. You got it. Lense is wet because of the waterfall. We were so close and wet ourselves. I tried so many options, by wiping away the water using a small cloth(which was wet too) and I hid the camera below a leaflet...none of my ideas worked...

@Anand Balaji: It was monsoon last year, this waterfall is situated in Naxal heartland, to add to the woos, there is no proper road to reach there, upon that, heavy rains spoil the road that could be used to reach there to the maximum extent....and of cource...it pours like there is no tomorrow, from heavens upwards...!

I was with two of my friends, and that was all the human connection this water fall had when I got the snap... Its a thrilling experience to be in there, and I consider myself lucky for having witnessed it in its full gutso.
