Yes. Shankaracharya founded the first of four Mutts in Sringeri. Sringeri Adwaita peeta is called Dakshinamnaya peeta where a Jagadguru in Sankara's legacy runs the mutt. The mutt is basically into spreading the spiritual vibrations across. One has to feel the serene divinity in the place by making a personal visit here. Its such a wonderful place. Sringeri is at the centre of Malenadu(hilly area) which receives highest rainfall in south India.
This place has a Sharada peeta. Sharada is another name to Goddess Saraswati, Lordess of Knowledge and education. Its a common practice to get the children's Aksharabhyasa, initiation of studies done in the abode of Sharada.

If one wants to experience a highly divine joy, he must visit Sringeri.
