It is said that a poor woman carved this idol and worshipped it daily since she could not afford to go to any other temple..!

And the speciality of this small temple is water always drips on the Linga from somewhere. Its said that Ganga from Kashi is responsible for that.

A wonderful treat to watch at and a great story to believe to!!

FYI : Badavi in Kannada means a poor woman.
